three movement show details the sneak attack at Pearl
Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. The first movement "Attack" displays
a chaotic and frantic reaction to the Japanese bombing. The
second movement "Sorrow" is set to Barber's "Adagio for
String" and is the perfect piece of music to convey the
sadness of the fallen. The final movement "Awakening"
describes the coming together of America to react and work
towards victory in this great war.
