- The Nixa Junior High band program consists of the 7th grade
Winds, 8th grade Winds and the Percussion class. An
emphasis is placed on playing basics such as rhythm, note
accountability, and articulation. In addition, students are
taught concepts such as tone production, intonation and
ensemble listening skills.
